Italeri was founded in the early 60s, with that enthusiasm that only the unbridled passion of youth can create. The M1A1 Abrams was formalized as the main battle tank of the American army in August 1984. The 105mm rifle mounted on the early M1 Abrams was replaced with a 120mm smoothbore cannon, greatly enhancing its attack power.
