Sonic Superstars won't have returning areas from previous Sonic

Yesterday, SEGA and Sonic Team announced a new 2.5D Classic Sonic game that is called Sonic Superstars. The game will feature Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy as they defeat Dr. Eggman and Fang.
