Everything is a matching white color so it looks clean once installed. The trim plate is paintable if you wish to have it blend into the wall behind it. The kit can be installed in new construction or old construction making it an all-in-one solution for any scenario. Install the box to the studs for new construction, or use the mounting wings for old construction. Recessed Connections The box installed flush to the wall, however the connections are recessed into the wall. There are 2 benefits to this type of installation.  #1. The cable plug connections are in the wall allowing the TV to be installed as close to the wall as possible.  #2. It creates a clean look since there are no protruding plugs sticking out from the wall.  The 15 Amp tamper resistant duplex outlet is included, as well as the brush kit.
